You.might need camber bushings if you do that. I will be selling my mcg struts somewhat soon and swapping to viking coil overs

Didn't need the bushings for mine.... I would just like to add that even though these trucks look the same, I'm finding that GM swapped a few parts during production so all aftermarket parts will not work... SMH...

A little off topic, but how do the McG drop struts ride? I need another inch in the front and trying to decide between the drop struts or just the coil relocators.

Rides great, wish I could get the rear to feel so nice.

Rear is great. What do you have in yours in the rear?

Belltech's now, did stock with relos and McG's, all are way too stiff but I'm pretty sure it's due to shocks that are "designed" for anything from a RCSB to a CCLB so I'm about to go to a custom shock with adjustability soon.

Has anyone gone with an adjustable Mcgaughys drop kit? I'm wanting to go 3/5 but would possibly go lower later down the road. I just can't decide on buying a adjustable kit or a regular lowering kit for my 2016 Silverado RCSB 2wd. Any imput is appreciated.

I have that kit with exception of the hanger. I've gone from 3/6 to a 4/7. And I'm going 5/8 soon

I'm torn between buying or just taking it to my local shop to just lower it for.

4/7 is easiest. But I suggest helpers. I love the ride

Will a 4/7 bottom out a lot. My dad has a 08 silverado crew cab 4/6 and it bottoms out quite a bit. I'm thinking like 3/6 with some oe replica 22s for now. I don't want my bank account to hate me.
