very happy with the truck, miffed the 6.2 sounds so quiet but thats easily fixed...

Truck is finally here and ready to pick up. Can't get to the dealer until Thursday morning, the wait is driving me nuts. Then it's straight to the tire shop for some new boots, then off for a new fifth wheel hitch to pull the new trailer. Can't wait to see what this 6.2 beast can do.

I was at the dealership yesterday looking at this color. Is this more of a purple or more of like charcoal gray? It looks different in different lighting.

I found the gmc version is more purple and the chev is more gray

they are the same exact paint code. it has a purplish base. depending on the painting it can go from purple to grey hues. I ran into that with my leer cover. they painted it with the more grey base and it didnt match my truck which is more of a purple base.
