Chrome End Gate Handle

I'm curious as to whether anybody knows what happened to the chrome tailgate handles for the 2014's? It used to be available as both a factory option and a GM accessory. Now it's gone from both places. Anybody know why?

I see them on ebay for $85+, not $24. Just wondering why GM isn't selling them anymore.

If you have the back up camera you need to order the one with the hole in it for the camera. The camera is in the handle trim from what I've read. They were on Ebay with and without the hole, make sure you order the correct one.

Mine was supposed to come with one, but dealer did not receive it in time for delivery. They are supposed to call me when it arrives.

I'm still just curious as to why it not listed on GM sites as an accessory any more. I like the chrome handle, but would like color matched outter trim. Not real fond of the black trim.
