Mike1220 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Finally installed my 55W 5000K HIDs today. The color PERFECTLY matched my LED DRLs and made a HUGE difference with sight. Extremely happy. Now to retrofit the fog lights with projectors and soon after another set of HIDs will be in there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

Chevyrcg Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 wow SWEET!… did you buy those or paint the factory one’s?
Chevyrcg Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Installed the Led tail lighs today.. Hey Block, where did you get those tail lights?
Chevyrcg Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I know I am a little late on this one but being in the wrap business, they did a GREAT job on that! If that vinyl fails or gets too hacked up there are other options to replace it if you want to keep the look. You need to use vinyl that is made to adhere to “Low Energy” surface….. Plastics, they use this for graphics on things like ATV’s and snowmobiles, motocross bikes, and then laminate with heavy duty laminate to protect it from chipping and fading. 1
Dres79 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Hey Block, where did you get those tail lights? They can be found on eBay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LTZTom Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 SWEET!… did you buy those or paint the factory one’s? Thanks!! They're covers. I got them HERE. I took my truck to the dealer for a transmission cooler line connection recall this morning and the guys at the dealer went crazy!! They just couldn't get enough of them. Kept saying they looked like the colored Corvette Brembo calipers. I'd never seen covers before but thought what the hell, I'll try 'em and I'm glad I did. Nice quality and simple to install. 1

They are from China but many other users on here with Sierras have used either DDM or Theretrofitsource.com (TRS.com sells Morimoto kits which are pricey) I got the DDM kit, they are nice but still cost effective. Some people have needed both the wire harness and the error code eliminator. But apparently my truck didn't like the error code eliminators and so my truck decided to short them out and ruin them, so I wired everything without the ECEs and it works fine. Go check out the HID topic moto created and you can see more Info about all things HID and what you'll need. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/152762-HID-Headlight-Bulbs---HID-Projector-Retrofit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
