I went and had a tonneau cover put on my truck today. I was thinking how nice it would be if someone invented some sort of rod with a hook on the end, so that if you have luggage for example that gets pushed all the way to the front of the bed. You could use the hook to pull it to the back. That would eliminate having to unroll the cover or climb up inside the truck. Coming up with a rod should be easy. But somehow coming up with a way to attach it to the underside of the bed rail to keep it from rolling around in the bed would be the tricky part.

I bought a boat hook from Princess Auto here in Canada, its great for pulling stuff forward that slides to the front of the box under heavy braking

I think the key would be finding a way to attach or mount the rod to the inside wall of the bed or under the rail. Unless you can attach it somehow then it would just roll around in the bed. According to the Du-Ha website, their's can be mounted. It just wasn't very clear on how to attach the mount.

I used to have 2 frog gigs mounted in my 05 1500 HD (man I wish they'd bring back the heavy half ton). I think I used the clips to hold brooms and stuff up. You can find that at any hardware store.

And from looking at google images of the ez reach, thats what it looks like they use too. Might even come with the hook

Installed the driver assist handle. I also got the Airaid MIT tube but since it's raining now and will rain tomorrow I will have to wait until Saturday after I get off work. Still waiting on the underseat storage for the rear seat but it should come in tomorrow so I'll put that in when I do the Airaid.

Well I did get the chance to install the Airaid MIT tube this evening after work. It was almost night though but I got it done and went for a test drive. I let it idle for a few minutes while I put everything up and then drove around including the interstate. I know I won't feel any HP gain (that is if it's even supposed to), but it did feel a tad better responsive. It could have all been in my head. It just felt less sluggish from a stop. Still the factory air filter that came on the truck. If anything it at least make the engine bay look better and less crowded. Will make it much easier to work on the belts and such. I know I'm keeping the stock air box but I'm not sure if I will need to switch it back to the stock one when I take it to get the oil changed under the maintenance warranty. Luckily I work at that dealership now so I can just let them do it while I'm there.

Now I will install the underseat storage under my back sit tomorrow after work.

Finally installed the underseat storage bin after work today. So now I have everything that I ordered last week.

Exhaust, removing the front air dam, and hopefully more mods soon to come. Some track time slips as well!!

Have you heard of the Get-A-Grip? I have one and it saved me from crawling in to get things that slide all the way to the cab. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/get-a-grip-multi-use-truck-tool?a=431383

Oh and it mounts to your bows or the side of your bed with hooks that are included Get a Grip

I've been thinking of doing this for a good while now. When I saw another member with a black truck with similar lights to these, I knew I had to get it done. How did you cut into the bumper?
