I dont know what that silver thing is but the paint looks good.

It's actually White Diamond Tricoat. But the lighting in the spray booth did make it look more silver and so did HDR mode on my phone

It's the bottom mirror cap for the new tow mirrors. It's a teaser pic. Full pictures will be seen tomorrow! Check out my build thread.

I'm not going to take this personal, I'm just assuming you're responding out of emotion from your near miss. My hitch carrier is a $200 dollar one bolted together with grade 8 bolts. It's not a harbor freight cheapie like you probably encountered. I also went beyond the instructions and welded it together. I'm also an AWS certified welding inspector and mechanical engineer. The 25 gallons of fuel (which is evenly distributed) is well within the manufacturer's rated capacity which is 500 lbs before I upgraded it. What you don't see in that pic because I fueling is I also run a safety chain between the handles of all the jugs and the frame. I plan to replace this with a 5' rod and lock.

Your time would be better spent worrying about what families tie to the roofs of their SUV's or at one of any countless home improvement centers where people either overload their vehicle or poorly secure their cargo. Or people on this forum running HID in reflector housings or regular halogen projectors. Now these are things that are totally inconsiderate of other's safety.

I didn't mean it "personal". Just a personal opinion and observation.

I switched to the 91+ octane tune from Blackbear. Been running the 87-89 tune for a long time, and never tried the 91+ they gave me. Decided to nut up and fill the truck with 93 Shell V-Power yesterday so I threw in the 91+ tune to see the performance gains!

Apparently when my dealer replaced the heat pads and vibrating seat sensors they didn't do a very good job of reassembling it, cause it looks crooked as hell

Just another reason for me to bitch and complain and take it back to them

Has better throttle response for sure, and engine seems to idle a lo smoother too. These DI engines really like the higher octane fuel.

I haven't decided if it will be worth paying for 93 octane vs 89 octane, but I will try it for a few weeks and decide.

I did my Black Bear tune in April. I was using premium anyhow but the difference the tune made is just unbelievable!!!!!!! Throttle response and transmission shifting made me think somebody had jacked up my truck and run a race car under it :):):) .

I could be wrong but I think all seats look like that.

Mine do. And they never removed it.

The leather is loose in the back of the seat and the passenger seat lines are parallel with one another. Maybe they just didn't assemble yours properly in the first place lol

That's definitely not how it's supposed to look. None of my GM leather was crooked like that. Take it back and don't accept it until it's perfect, just like it was when you took it to them.

Dealer is repairing it because their tech did it with another vehicle in the service area. They are also covering the cost of painting it as well as another chip that I showed them. Just need to drop it off for the week!
