That's exactly what I do as well. Random crap on your hands plays hell on a leather steering wheel.

I try to keep my hands clean as possible and use not lotion or cream and rotate my hands on the wheel I also tend not to slides hand on turn since we all now that plays a huge role in wear and tear but if gm is warranty covers it have fun spinning ur wheels

And what a good choice you made! Much better.

Thank you sir! The black was fading and starting to peel, I was going to repaint it but had enough for pearl so I figured why not. Glad I went this route.

Maybe a crazy thought but I also think it would look even better if you were able to touch all of the rivets with the same white.

I've actually considered that, it would be a huge pain though because I'd have to either remove them all and paint them or mask and peel & repeat that process. I may do it when I get them painted with real paint and have the shop do that tedious work.

Well hell if it was really simple you would be seeing others already with it[emoji6]

Got my tow mirrors back from the body shop today after having them color match the chrome. Hopefully the weather is nice tomorrow so I can finally install them.

Where did you get the dash plate from to fit this gauge?

I remember him custom fit them in and repainted the trim piece himself. Few pages page should show what he did
