I'm not sure if anyone else picked up the strip lights off of Amazon. They are cheap and shitty, I can't imagine they would last more than 5 minutes in the rain. Don't buy them.

Another buyer of these lights here. Ive also got mine mounted underneath just above the running boards. They are exposed to all weather conditions and so far they have been great! Edited by dbcooper

Well that makes me feel a little better about them, but I still can't say I trust them. that tape on the back would not stick for me at all.

I certainly agree with the tape. I peeled off the stuff that came on mine, and used some 3m red stuff

FInally got my Rigid DOT fogs installed. Man, if you have big hands I wish you the best of luck. I had one hell of a time installing those lights last night. Very pleased with the output, but damn lol. I had a few choice words every time I skinned another knuckle

The end is wide open, I can't see them lasting. They give off great light, and would be great for in the truck. Try dipping one in some water, let's see how long it lasts.attachicon.gif20151215_162604.jpg

Try using some good silicone on the ends. I bet that will help stop the elements from getting in.

Put on some Suntek window tint today!! My goal was to only darken the front slightly over the factory 70%. Decided a layer of 50% was the look I wanted. According to the calculations this should put the vlt at 35%. First impressions... I like it a lot. Hopefully my decision doesn't change.

Blacked out my bow tie. I have to say something as easy and inexpensive as the plasti dip stuff sure make a difference in the look of the truck.
