Good looking front end . who makes that grill ?? Take note GM .

I bought it from amazon, made by razer auto. The Grille didn't come with the chevy emblem, I purchased a billet bolt on emblem.

I'm not sure if anyone else picked up the strip lights off of Amazon. They are cheap and shitty, I can't imagine they would last more than 5 minutes in the rain. Don't buy them.

Several of us have bought these similar lights for our amp steps and they've been holding up well, and that's with them under the truck on the rockers where they'll see the worst conditions... Guess reviews / opinions are all relative

The end is wide open, I can't see them lasting. They give off great light, and would be great for in the truck. Try dipping one in some water, let's see how long it lasts.post-137613-145028987536_thumb.jpg

Those are the exact same lights a few of us bought off eBay for our AMP steps. Mine have been through some serious weather and have probably been on for almost a month and still work like a charm. Even If they do go out at some point, they were only $6-8 so money well spent. I would easily buy them again. Don't judge a book by its cover

I used them as footwell lighting. One of the strips the black plastic housing fell/broke off and the adhesive is crap, but otherwise I'm happy with them. They do give off great light.

*** my one issue is that for whatever reason they lightly flash in-sync with the hazards when the door is open/dome lights are on.

What brand and % did u use? I take it the picture showing the side is of them tinted.

I'm not sure of the brand. There's a local place here called TintMyRide and they did it for me. I know that it's 5% tint. It's only on the back 3 because it's illegal to tint the front windows here in Vermont. Both pictures are taken right after they finished putting it on.

That sucks! I've got 5% all the way around mine and 50% on the windshield.

Fat fingered, and shot from the hip.

You'd be surprised. I've had them mounted under my truck (used as AMP step lights) for almost 2 years now and they still work perfectly. I live in Louisiana as well, so we see our fair share of heavy rain and flooding. With that said, they have definitely been exposed and drenched in water multiple times and i have had zero issues. I would say if you are worried about the wire connections, put a little bit of silicon in the end to seal them up better and you should be good to go.

As Kerrslight said, I wouldn't judge a book by its cover
