Just depends on if he plans to use them. They can be cut out. I have my tie downs on all 4 upper corners like his. I don't plan on using the ones in the front or middle of the bed.

I had them leave the top 4 corners. They offered to cut out any other ones I might ever want.

They weren't sure if the caps would still pop in after the line X was sprayed. So I just had them cover them.

Mine is a DD too, 100 miles a day for work which is why I wanted something with some lug to it. I'll pick up a new set of wheels for the OE tires come spring and then have summer and a winter set.
