Swapped of the flat chrome factory running boards, with round black factory ones. Only on one side for now while I let them grow on me.

Interested to see how it turns out.  I want to paint mine red.  Did you just cut off the one bolt that is blocked in?  If so, what are you using as a replacement?  That's the only thing holding me up right now.

Well for me when I swapped my front bumper I flipped the bolt around when the bumper was off. Now that it’s been rotated I can remove the tow hooks anytime I want by just unbolting.  I’m actually painting mine red...

Had the trans flushed to get rid of the pesky converter shudder.  Seems to be operating normally again.

I have removed the old brake pads and ordered new ones for my car from car parts store. Nothing special really, just found time to work on it, and my car will be ready again soon :)

Noticed this today on our gmc

It’s right behind the cab of the truck right near the top (the gap between the truck cab and the bed.

Anyone else have a slap job?

Duplicolor primer, GM victory red, and clear coat. Washed/degreased then, scuffed with green scotch pad, wiped with alcohol then primed. Painted after 24 hours and then cleared 24 hours after that.  6 coats red, 3 coats clear

    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.

    • Wouldn't swapping out the original AFM/DFM parts for a complete Delete Kit be the best route to go if one could afford to go that route?
    • It comes with directions but yes, generally, it's the same.  Also, get you the dipstick stuff to install dipstick so you have one.
