Stopped in and checked on the bumper for the 2014, still not powder coated after 2 weeks hoping it gets done by end of week but there was no Guarantee. Other than that I looked at the pair of trucks sitting in the garage. Also working on the idea of adding hydroboost to them.

hey, homewrecker007 have a? Is it bad to drive in manual 5 for long periods just don't like how it feels when going into v4

Unplug the vacuum booster sensor it will give you a check engine light because it doesn't see the sensor but then you can leave it in drive. It shouldn't let it go into v4 mode with a check engine light on. Aside from that you're gas mileage will be lower from running in 5th gear.

Also would like to add Pay attention to your transmission temp if you have not changed out the factory transmission thermostat. If you run it in 5th gear.

When I had the transmission rebuilt I had them add an external cooler I am planning to do a thermostat when spring comes now with the external cooler  the temp is getting up around 144f to 150 before the rebuild it would get up to 190,200

Pumped out 1gal+10oz of used ATF via the tranny dipstick tube and added a fresh gallon/4qts. of ATF + 1 bottle/10oz of Lubegard red.  Took about 30 minutes prep to clean up.  Almost 214k miles on this OEM 6L80E............................

I do this about every 3rd or 4th oil change.  So far, go good.

I was assuming he wanted to go cheap route.

I ordered all the Off-road lights, wiring and Latching relay for the 2014 sierra. Hopefully the bumper will be done by Monday.

That sounds about right.  The free way is to unplug the vacuum sensor. It and the vacuum pump are there because of the V4 mode. No readings from the sensor, no V4 mode. Not a permanent fix by any means, but it would be fine till one has the funds to get a tune or a range product to shut it off.

Wiring lots of Wiring on my 14 sierra. The last 2 day's has been making the oem Off-road headlight switch button work and Wiring Harnesses for extra backup lights and Off-road lights and the new fog lights. Also charged the battery up.  Powder coating guy is taking his sweet time with my bumper 🤬

One set of lights installed. The powder coating guy said he should have the bumper done by end of day, so hopefully that's the case. If so I'll get it on tomorrow with the rest of the lights.
