Replaced the thermostat. Since late last fall the temp gauge hasn’t been getting above 180-190F. I recently bought an OB2 scanner and it was only reading 160F max. Now it gets up to 205-210F like it’s supposed to. Hopefully, my mileage improves some too.

LIke many things I order.. it sits in the garage for a bit before I install it..

Finaly got around to installing my Elevate rack system. Getting ready for lumber runs and taking kayaks to the lake this summer..

I would give this rack system a 9/10. Only reaon is that installing it with my bakflip, it will raise it, so the seal on tailgate no longer sits flush. Will need to get a thicker seal or something. Def will put a plate over the wires to unlatch the cover, due to the gap it has created.

Videos I saw, they only had 2 positions, the real high one and the low one. Folks on the video talked about driling holes between those two. For some reason, they must of listened to the customers, becase the one I order, has 3 height positions. The middle position clears the bakflip and it just clears the top of the cab. So perfect height. Will only put it on when needed.. takes about 5/mins to remove, so not bad. my bro told me I look like a contractor now..

Oh man, that’s kinda like the 3” bodylift i got for 200$ on fb marketplace, same bodylift i was waiting months for (for 550$) the company kept pushing the date for shipping back every month.

Not much drive time lately, but I've done a few things. Tow mirrors and door handles. Took it off the road in and got a couple pics, hope to have more later with the handles.

Still need to wire the lights on the mirrors. They are switchbacks, so white driving then amber turn signal.

Anyone know if gm made our trucks that have power fold without the keypad above the handle on the drivers side door?

Thoughts on the chrome handles?

I think I have one better went to pick up a UnderCover Elite LX One-Piece Truck Bed Tonneau Cover (off a Silverado) it cost over 2k shipped got it for free with all the hardware and one key, only thing that sucks is the Silverado and Sierra beds are different so It actually doesn’t fit properly so im selling it gotta guy coming to pick up for 700$ tomorrow. The Silverado bed curve in more about the taillights then the Sierra so it freaking scratched my bed alil nothing major

Looks good with the tow and chrome handles. I like chrome..

Thanks! I have a few more chrome pieces in mind for this build. I'll have to cut and fit them, but it will turn out great as always

Nope, power fold only had the button in the door. I believe boost auto and harness Dr have kits to add it

Well crap. I'll just setup the power fold with a switch then. Harness Dr is cool,

Hindsight I should of bought his setup, figured i could save s few bucks. It would of cost less then buying multiple harnesses. Lol maybe I'll sort through the wiring and see if I can make it work. Idk

Got a complete score on the door switches and wiring! What's crazy is the seller posted the wrong door switches lol. Looks like I found the right switches and harness.
