Got my light bar installed this afternoon. I used a set of colton_m's mounts and they are a piece of cake to install and fit perfectly. The light bar is a 30" curved from Torton and I used thier wireless adapter to make the install even easier.

I like this idea. That wireless remote hooks up from the light to...where? haha I'm kind of a n00b when it comes to electrical stuff. This setup is perfect for me.

Installed 5K WHITE VLEDS fog lights I bought here in the Marketplace!

Cell phone shot with only the passenger side installed.

Ha....I know where you got those! Glad they worked out for you.

So... Haven't posted in what feels like a decade, so here's the rundown...

Replaced every single bulb on the truck with led's... Including these which are the headlights from Mr. hid here in town...LOVE THEM! c264797dcd809ca77d3daf7f8f9841ff.jpg

Also installed the Spyder lightbar headlights, but have now put the stocks back on while these are being rebuilt with a total of 4 led concepts Halo's and retrofitting a mini h1(I believe) projector in the high beam.

efd66eb43f5b8d3042c71e3b1a07cf65.jpg

Also added an Xtreme Led 52", 10", and 2x 3" cubes with color morph led concepts halos. (Haven't put the halos in anything but the cubes yet...damn you work!) haha and also replaced the turn signal/ Sid marker bulbs with led switchbacks that are white but go Amber when your turn signal or emergency lights are on...pretty sweet!

Picture from inside the bay while we were working on the 52"! By the way, I used those ridiculously expensive gutter mounts from N-FAB...worth the money. They're waaaaaaayyyyy thicker and much better looking than any of the others I've seen...and they're powder coated, not painted which is a definite plus since I paid right at $200 for them.

ea59ba0fb093478ff72f2946e5163b00.jpg

Amidst all this work, the wife got me a new timepiece...been wanting this thing since I was a kid! That's not really that long ago considering I'm 25 but it felt like forever haha!

Back to the truck pictures...

We got what people around here consider "a bunch of snow" lol so I had a little fun in the mall crawler...5865127f4cb1697f9954cbc1012f5021.jpg93e38b0e47111d9b5c109a31436062cf.jpg

And then...the last 2 amps I've been waiting for finally showed up for a total of 3...2x DC Audio 1.2k's and a DC Audio 90.4!

That being said...I'll just leave this here!

1504cb97dd1ea8ff66985862ca4ab6ca.jpg haha! Can't wait for the suspension to get back from powdercoating! Later guys!

Nice work man, any 30" seems to work just perfect mounting to those angled supports. The height below the GMC emblem is spot on.

It really is quite satisfying when you dont have to drill into the truck. No going back if you mess up the height haha.

Now I think I need a curved light too. My standard single row isn't cool anymore lol.

Anyone reading this that's interested in those mounts feel free to shoot me a PM. I just made another batch.

Where are you gentlemen who have tow mirrors getting them? I want the all black powered mirrors. I have a 2014 silverado 5.3L LT. I'd prefer to have the lights on the side but I dont have it now so no biggie. My dealer told me they cant get them and none of the ones online will fit my truck but I see a few guys on this thread have tow mirrors on their 1500s.

No pictures right now but my 14 has a 2.5" rough country lift with 285/75/17 cooper AT3s. blacked out emblems and badging. 6 inch stubby radio antenna. 20% tinted front windows. Black 4" Raptor running boards.

TODO list this summer includes black 17" wheels, adding a 1.5" Zone bodylift, swapping out my AT3s for ST MAXX 35x12.5's. tonnau cover of some sort and a drop in bed liner.

I ordered my black towing mirrors from eBay. They are power and heat, but no turn signal which is fine because I didn't have the turn signal in the first place. I just typed in 2014 Silverado 1500 tow mirrors and I clicked on the first one.

Newm, let me know about the shocks when you get them stalled I'm curious and excited I think I'm going to go that route too

EBay like everyone else. Power and heat, no turn signal but I found out they do have the slot for the arrow, which I will buy from Amazon and rig it myself.

Alright cool. I just wanted to make sure they actually fit and the wiring all connected without issues. I'll go do some hunting and see if I cant pick up a set.

Thanks for the response guys!

This is what I used for the wireless switch. You plug in the box to where the normal switch would be. I programmed my homelink button to act as the remote.

Thank you! I'm really happy in the way that the light bar ended up lining up with the holes in the grille.

Chances are your dealer thought that you were talking about the new HD mirrors. They don't work 110% properly in the 1500s without some rewiring so since it wouldn't have been 110% PNP, the dealers declare that it won't work at all

Just one last question haha how's the quality of the light bar. I really don't want to pay out the ass for a rigid and I don't want a piece of China junk. [emoji107]

Initial quality I would say is great! The bar seems really well built and has some decent weight to it. Only time will tell if it holds up tho. I'm optimistic and I think it will be ok.
