Custom brackets for rigid dually d2's. These guys are willing to do full on CNC aluminum brackets that will look much much better and be all 1 piece! These are adjustable too.

I would be in for a set of the brackets....

Is the newly painted surface smooth like the silverado's trim or rough? Are you matching it with the other trim inside (console, door trim)?

Yes the surface is smooth but only if you do it right. You'll want to make sure the dip isn't too cold inside the can, I personally always put the can inside a cup of hot water for about 30 seconds before spraying to make sure that the dip is warm. This will get it to spray in the finest mist it can. From there just apply nice even coats and it's smooth[emoji106]

Hog Wild Fab in Springdale Arkansas is the company. Contact Michael Barrett this is his direct cell # 479-841-6144. May let him know James Cummings gave you the info so he knows what you are referring to as they do a lot of work!

Thanks man! I'm extremely happy with the results.

On a side note. Does anyone know how exactly to remove the steering wheel trim? I'd really like to get the center piece off and the aluminum trim off to colormatch the trim and emblem.

You mean for taking apart the screen? Oh believe me, I cringed every time I turned a bolt. Only used a screwdriver. No way I was gonna use any kind of power tool on that thing.

I can't even get my fuse covers off. I won't pull any harder than I already have and they didn't come off.

R u pulling from the bottom? It's hard the first time you pop them off but after that it becomes easier.

Yeah and I've been told that before. I'm going to make the service guy show me next time I'm at the dealer

You need to make us a video mike

I can do that. I have a video of me pulling off the trim off the back doors. That was held on there strong as heck. Thought I was gonna break something!

I got the front and rear doors done and stopped there since I couldn't get the fuse panels off to do the vents. I didn't want to do the radio if it wasn't going to match the vents. I really hate the trim on the center console but haven't a clue where to start there. I like doing motors as they are solid parts other than the intake, but trim work is to easy to break and I would hate screw it up.

I had the 2nd oil change done. When I got home I swapped in my color matched handles and mirror caps. Tmw is the install of the light bar as long as the weather holds.

Mishimoto Catch Can and a K&N CAI.

I drive 60 miles one way to work every day (120 miles total per day for you geniuses), so hopefully the CAI will help with the MPG's and the catch can will help with the crud.

The catch can may not be optimally mounted, but it works for now until I can find some aluminum to bend. It clears the hood but isn't perfectly vertical right now.
