You should be happy you don't get the ranchos on your truck. They are cheap walmart specials if you ask me. I can't wait for the nice weather to come so I can install my mcgeupghys 3/5 drop kit with their air shocks. The ranchos ride like a bag of .... Also, try your best to stay away from the wrangler sra tires, they also suck the big one. They vibrate like crazy (can't balance them properly) and they suck in the snow and rain. I actually like the deulers but I have had good personal experience with Nitto's for a good AT tires.

I ordered the max tow package so wasnt even an option for me, although I have the z71 rancho's on my 2010 and havent had any issue.

ive heard a ton of bad on the wranglers, which I will probably end up with unless I am extremely lucky. Ive never ran a Nitto, had dueler alenza's on my suburban and loved them, have dueler at's on my 2010 now and like them a lot. nice combo. I dont do a ton of off roading, but snow and mud often so they seem to be a nice middle of the road for my style driving, plus the milage wear on them has been fantastic

which Nitto's are you running?

I have nitto terra grapplers on my 1994 F150 (off road/plow truck) and love them. They wear great, are quiet, and are pretty cheap. I dont spend money on the old ford haha. I put a 4bt cummins in it this year which cost me 800 bucks and I haven't stopped crying over that. My money is going into my Sierra haha.

do you like the continental's? guy I know with a ford f-150 is running those and loves them

No problems with them so far. I was expecting Good Years and got these. They are more of a road tire than a AT though. I could not see these being any good in snowy areas.

I got the Goodyear LSs (?) on my Denali without Z71 package. No complaints so far for my mostly highway driving. I'm not a big fan of the Wrangler ATs. I usually go with Duellers when I replace though. I've had great success with the HL Alenzas and AT Revos over the years. Tirerack.com has great info and reviews on tires by class and usage.

.....my bad - didn't clarify.... On the Denali that comes with the standard Denali 20" factory wheels, you get the Z-60 package.... GM told me there were some very early built Denalis that had the ranchos with 20" wheels, but the ones built after mid- late October did not - at least that's what a factory rep told me - apparently they were looking for a smoother ride??? Lots of running changes as a new model comes out. Mine rides like a dream right now so no complaints.

Wrong. I have 22's with the Z-71 package and Rancho's all around

You can (or at least could) get the Denali with a Z71 package. That would get you 20" wheels with Rancho shocks.

That makes no sense because the truck is advertised as having 20's and so is the high country...

No kidding...that's what I ordered, but got the Z-60 after a "running change"- again no complaints, mine rides great. Not atypical for GM to make running year changes on a 'new' model vehicle after the engineers have a little more time to think things over. I plan on keeping my about 2 years and seeing what the offerings are for 2016...by then they will know what Ford has put out and juiced the 6.2 in an attempt to be top dog again.....just my opinion

My 20's came with Goodyear's LS-2. It's a LTZ, not Z71, not max tow.

I know the Goodyear SR-As that came with my 20" have taken a major beating here (and elsewhere) but I have to say we got 13 inches of snow yesterday and they've been great (and I live in a pretty hilly area).
