There was a different app I used and I liked it but I cant remember the name

I use aCar app for my droid to keep track of vehicle expenses, supports multiple vehicles, can track any and all expenses from fuel to repair to insurance and registration expenses if desired. Very easy to use, entering a fill up receipt is very simple, nice UI and they keep it well updated and continually make it easier to use, very highly recommend for anyone wanting a phone app

I use it for all our vehicles. I like it. sucked to find out how much we spent in a year in fuel costs. :(

I've done hand logs for the 10 years I've been driving, keep debating on starting to do it on an app as well just haven't gotten around to it yet. Old habits are hard to break I guess.

I used mine for receipts and to keep track of mileage

I just write the mileage on the reciept and enter it in when I have a chance... I used to do it by hand this keeps track nicely

+1 use Microsoft excel. Minitab if I do any analysis (yes I am an engineer)

I use an app called Gas Cubby. Not only does it track gas mileage but you can enter your services and it will keep track of those and give you alerts of upcoming services by using your mileage every time you fill up.

I've used fuelly for a few years. Seeing the results of my truck vs. my old sportwagen diesel is depressing :)
