Just got the recall done on my 2014 chevy Silverado. Has anyone else noticed there mpg going up. After the recall work was done. Mine seems to hold 4 cylinder mode longer. And in 8 cylinder mode seems like better mpg also. Took a pic of mine on about a 1 mile level stretch and it was holding 40 mpg in 4 cylinder mode. I'm not griping thats for sure just wondering if anyone else is having that same kind of results after the recal work. Thanks.

Mine's going in tomorrow morning. Right now, I am averaging 15.3 overall. I got 1,500 on the odometer, hopefully it will go up either from the update or after 2K and it loosens up.

I just had mine fixed today I'll keep track and see if I notice a jump or not. I only have 670 miles but my average is 16.1 I would like to see it go up some.

I had mine done last Friday and thought the exact same thing. But that was based only on the 30 mile drive home from the dealership. When my truck was brand new I got great mileage right off the lot, and then it seemed to drop after a reprogram done during the first oil change. Maybe this second reprogram for the exhaust heat issue also corrected something from the first that hurt the fuel mileage.

Hope everyone has as good as luck as I did. Don't know what they did but I like it. Great mpg after the fire recall. Hope everyone has as good as results as I did.

Here is the pic I was talking about. It's kinda blurry was taking a pic while driving. It shows 4 cylinder mode and 40 mpg it was a straight
stretch about 1 1/2 miles long and it held 40 mpg the whole time. Love this truck. Hope everyone has as good as mine did.

I certainly would not want to be driving near you when you are taking cell phone photos at nearly 60 MPH.

Yea the road was clear both ways or I would not have tryed it. It was a country road.

Well, I haven't gotten mine back yet due to some other issues I was having with the coil packs. I was getting about 15-16 mpg around town. But I'm thinking after I get it back it should go up a bit because now my coil packs will be working correctly...

I just had my fire recall done yesterday and so far I feel like it's fixed dead pedal too. Much more responsive when you hit the gas. Anyone else notice this?

I had mine done yesterday as well. The dealership is on a stretch of highway that the speed limit is 45 mph. Right away when I pulled out, I noticed the blue mileage bar was almost always to the right on the DIC. Hope others are experiencing this.

I certainly would not want to be driving near you at any time. You have no eyes in your avatar pic.

Apparently I am not on the Recall but my office neighbor across the hall is...Ironically, he wanted a bench seat truck and passed on my truck for the one he wanted. I wasn't even thinking about buying a truck and after he showed me the pictures of the one he didn't buy... well I went and bought it...

My Life Time MPG is 16 with 2263 miles to date.

I do see an increase in MPG when I set the cruise at 56 MPH.... My best 25 mile average is 21.5
