Crew Cab Std Bed Length?

That Dark Red is sharp! Wish I'd gone with that instead of Fire Red sometimes! The Crew with a 6-1/2 box looks very properly proportioned.

Well I just measured my garage and it measures 23ft deep from wall to the garage door so I would probably be good to fit one in my garage. I really am warming up to the longer truck idea. Dont want to sacrifice the bed length to have the crew cab. I remember I could fit my 07.5 Silverado ext cab with a 6"lift height wise in my garage by a hair. Im glad to have a good size garage.

I am hoping to pick my new one up in about 7-10 days (before the end of the month to get gmcard bonus). LTZ Z71 with Nav, LTZ Plus package, plus a few other options. Just waiting on dealer to finalize the deal!

Thanks for the pics! Those are 24s right? I cant believe you could fit those with the good size side wall of tire too! Looks awesome! Is it still the R.C. 2.5" kit?

Yes, 24x10 and it's the RC 2.5" level/lift. Tires measure to be a 33.3".

I found a LTZ Z71 Crew cab in blue topaz with the standard bed for $45k. Looks really good and I think I am set on that set up when its time to buy. The only thing the truck was missing was a black leather interior. Seems like all the dealerships around me like to order lighter color interiors

I have this configuration - its not too bad going forward but parking it can be a PITA quite often. You better be good at backing into spaces and throwing your weight around so to speak so people STOP and let you maneuver and do your thing to park it.

I have some length info:

I have an '11 CC shorty bed. I friend just got a '14 CC Std bed.

I parked with the front tires equal.

The '14's nose was about 3-4 inches shorter than the '11.

The '14's rear tire and bumper were about 8-10" longer.

So overall, no big deal to get the Std. bed for me.

I had an 07 LTZ with a 6" lift. So I got used to backing into spaces. With reverse tilt mirrors and the backup camera and sensors, I should be able to manage a longer truck just fine.

I have the crew cab with the standard bed. It fits in my garage WITH the trailer hitch in, and almost touching the wall. There is about 3 inches between the front bumper and the ribs on the garage door when it comes down. Check my pictures... Blue Topaz 2LTZ Z71 ... and I like the tan interior, I've had black for a long, long time.
