It's been storming here for three days straight. Worst storm in three years non stop pouring plus I wash with the pressure washer at the local do it yourself car wash and I have no leaks. My gasket has the slit in the back too.

Loose shark fin antenna mount bolts causing the seal to go bad or maybe just a bad batch of seals?? Glad to hear yours isn't leaking, at least for now anyways. Just keep an eye out for it. If it leaks on the driver's side you will know because it will drip on you for sure.

There could be several reasons for the leak under the antenna:

1. Misaligned gasket

2. Loose mounting screws/bolts

3. Instalation may require use of a sealant and someone forgot to use it at the factory

4. Bad gasket (damaged, or nonuniformly made)

Just had mine in today. It was a bad seal at the top of the windshield on the drivers side

Just pulled out of the car wash. Leaking down the back window right behind my head. Noticed that the headliner has water stains too. It will probably be next week before I can schedule an appt.

Probably coming from the third brake light.

I have had this issue fixed once myself but it has comeback. It doesn't seem to be as much most likely from snow and ice not sitting up there and only rain now. Bummed but I'll let everyone know if they find it leaking from another source.

Snow and ice.

Just picked up my $54,000 Silverado High Country with 200 miles, leaking from driver side visor. Very disappointed to say the least. I had water issues with my 08 Sierra All Terrain when i bought it new too, took them 6 tries to get it fixed..........uggh.

They need to pull the head liner down on the driver's side and do a water test. I bet its coming from the shark fin antenna. Applying a coat of sealant should fix it.

OK went to go to work and it was real wet on the passenger side by the visor and window Sile. i drove right over to gmc dealer so they wouldn't think im crazy.. i don't think my shark fin is leaking must be from the windshield or sunroof.. I'm taking it in tomorrow and they are going to have a glass company come look at it.. Very disappointed in GM right now.. should have taken a picture and bought the 2014 Ram limited instead..

Water in drivers floorboard, steering shaft seal in the firewall. Service dept. replaced it today. 6.7 hours

This is my second issue with water getting into the cab.

GM should have gotten rid of the shark fin antenna, and just ran everything through the traditional style antenna by the fender. Having a hole in the roof with a seal is just asking for trouble, and over complicating things.
