Bought my 14 in February. They were really selling a lot of Sierras up here the last weeks of Feb

Price, and I think many are possibly waiting for the new F-150.

Maybe so.. I looked at the Ford, and even the new one just looks ugly and typical same Ford styling.. even the interior looks like the old one.. If you look on that page the Silverado and Sierra are seperate. Combined and they make 50,000 units only like 5,000 below f150

I noticed that too about the new F-150 interior....not too different. I think like any other vehicle you see in a picture, it takes time to grow on you. Any serious truck buyer is going to want to see the competition to ensure they get the most bang for the buck. If the new F-150 is competitively priced and gets better MPGs, Chevy will lose some perspective buyers.....another signal on how competitive the truck market has become.

I was close to going the Ford route. Had two F150's before and loved them both. Interior was pretty awesome in the FX model but just wasn't impressed with the Ecoboost. It was just a basic 6 while driving and you had to put your foot in it for the power. So then I started looking at the GM trucks again. The GMC really started to catch my interest. The new 6.2L in a double cab sold me!

I lmost bought a SCREW Ecoboost FX4. So you're saying the power delivery on them was just as bad as some here complain with the 5.3? I never got the one I test drove really up on the throttle as I tested it around town.

Yep! Drove one and it was nothing what I was expecting. Really dissapointed! But I'm glad things worked me back this direction. I wasn't impressed with the 5.3 either but after doing research the 6.2L was exactly what I was after. I'm kind of a hp junkie and like things responsive and fun to drive.

Even though my hot rod days are behing me, and there are no more smokey burnouts or sliding around corners in my future, I do still think it would have been nice to have gotten the 6.2l.. I probably should have waited for it, but then, at the time I had to have it RIGHT NOW!

I just heard on the news a few min ago that your employer Ford is recalling over 1 million cars. Something about reduced engine power. Anyway.. I'm still waiting for you to post all the details on this? You seem real quick to bash GM when you have a chance.

Chevy can't blame the weather for the collapse of Silverado sales. Sierra, Ram & Ford were all up yet Silverado falls hard. Hint GM: The snow is not deeper at the Chevy dealerships. The truck is ugly so GM people are going to GMC.

A few daily driver GM trucks & a few classic Fords that are not daily drivers. Life is too short to own just one vehicle.
