Rocker Panel Plugs

These were in the center console when I bought it. What are they for?

I have the same thing in my glove box. I was thinking they were to cover the parking sensors, but there appears to be too many. I don't know really. Are your bumpers painted? They don't go in the bed, they're only about 3/4" in diameter.

Check your door will and rocker panel. They look like the plugs that to on that area of my 2011.

Oooo my turn! If you have a white and I think silver truck, they make body colored rocker panel plugs so when you put chrome running boards on, you won't see black rocker plugs reflecting down on the chrome board. The body colored ones can be put in place to clean the look up. White ones for White Diamond and white, light gray for Switchblade Silver.

I believe the above post is correct. I have a White Diamond Silverado and the dealership put the OEM chrome running boards on but didn't replace these plugs and they didn't come with my truck. I haven't had a chance to call the dealership and have them get them for me. Someone posted a TSB about this and I've been searching around here and haven't been able to find it. Anybody come across it and remember what thread it was in?
