Time Changes Automatically?

Anyone notice the clock changes by itself? How does it do that?

It also changes when you're driving and enter different time zones.

In my truck there is a clock setting of manual or cell network. If set on cell network it changed on its own. Mine did!! ?

This is correct. I just did this setup the past weekend.

so if that setting for "change on cell network" is enabled, it will change the clocks even if the truck doesnt have the wifi hotspot option?

 

Kinda cool. I turned it on in my truck but it was already past the clock change

I didn't even know the time changed until I looked at the only two "old" clocks in my house, all of my other ones change on their own.

COuld be wrong but...I don't think it has anything to do with Onstar or XM. The time is picked up from your cell phone and it's a setting that you can turn on in your infotainment menu.

I drove 2 counties west and did not cross time zone but my clock changed back 1 hour going out and back to normal time coming home.  We live in central Kansas.

Any ideas???  Has me baffled.

Mine will not sync the time with my phone, a bit of a pain in the arse as the clock gradually gains time so I have to set the clock every couple of months back a couple of minutes.

I have the setting for syncing time with the phone but it has never worked, I have two different phones, time doesn't update with either of them, same goes for the time zone change, never has worked.
