Wow, people are so, for lack of better words at the moment, POTATO! This neighborhood needs a good ass whoopin! It's your own damn driveway! These neighbors DO NOT pay your mortgage so I see no reason why anyone couldn't park in the driveway! Some trucks look so good it would probably drive up the value of the home lol. Ignorance at its best.

Have a neighbor who owns two lots with what equals a 6 car garage that not one of their 3 cars can fit in due to all the crap they have. Then add the piles of crap behind/around each one & it will drive one insane.

While I despise HOA's in general, there is also the other extreme.

Move in with an HOA, follow their rules. Fact of life. Time to vote them out or move on with life.

I don't like mine, but that's how it works. Mine aren't that crazy. One time I was told I "someone was complaining" I was "racing up and down the street". I gave the woman a lecture on how some people are too stupid to know the difference between high RPM and high SPEED(manual trans car. Wasnt shifting when I'm 40 yards from house, so humming along at over 3000 rpm for about that far.). Told her if they were serious they needed to get their lazy cowardly butt to my house and say it to my face so I could explain the difference to them personally.

Never heard from anyone again. Wonder why?

Wow that is unreal, it wouldn't help the value cause it's a ford but still I can't imagine living without a truck in my driveway, I guess they haul stuff in their BMW's and Volvo's. I would love to park in their drive way during hunting season with all the mud and the blood.

I like how in MO, SUV's are considered Trucks, so wouldn't they be subject to this as well? I mean what's good for a 66 Ford should be good for a 14 BMW Right?

I think the moral of the story was HOA's suck major donkey slong (for the most part). In my old condo I have put up many-a-fight over asinine HOA rules. Too many old ladies with nothing better to do. The first one was parking my race car in my assigned spot. She got hauled out almost every other weekend during the summer time and when she was parked, she was covered. Also a complaint about the smoke created when I light up my grill. They allowed charcoal grills (which was awesome), but smoke from lighting the coals? The last complaint was for hanging a U.S. Flag. That was the straw that broke this camel's back. I fought it, won and immediately put my condo up for sale.
