Why has this not been done yet? Ok say the state and town and contact info of the tuner you know about.

I am looking for one in the Nashville tn area

Why does it have to be local? Some tuners travel or are amazing at what they do with email tuning

I'm sure every local business owner would love to hear that, lol.

 

There isn't many face to face transactions any more and most of those individuals are under 30. There are still many old school individuals out there that are able to carry on a conversation WHILE making eye contact and actually prefer that method of doing business and like me have never used Facebook, lol.

 

This is actually a good idea and if this is done I think feedback for each would be nice.

And it doesn't HAVE to be local because there are some competent mail order tuners out there that will probably give you better results than many so called local tuners.

Absolutely, reviews of each one would be awesome and no it doesn't have to be local. It can be just email tuners as well that's absolutely fine. I'm just looking for information to be centralized in one place so people can find these places either had an actual shop or on the Internet.

Nelson Performance (Allen Nelson/farmtruc on ls1 or SilveradoSS forums). Austin Tx

 

Allen really knows GM LS based motors.. He tuned my Silverado SS and 2 other trucks Ive had, his tunes are great, and he'll tune for whatever octane you want to run, mileage, or straight power. It's obviously better for him to tune real world driving but he does really good job with mail ins or if you have a tuner program, he'll send u the tune and u can import it into ur truck. He and I had fun with KenneBell corp. they tuned my SS originally for their charger and my other acc's. And it was just blah, so Allen said he could fix it, I drove from GA to Tx and within :30 mins he had the truck purring, within a hour after real world driving he had it snorting! It had pulled 438 hp on Knowledge Performance dyno before Nelson tuned it, afterwards it was 506hp at the wheels, and ran smooth on 93octane, before it shuddered, stumbled and was garbage. KB had truck for 2 weeks, he had it for 2hrs.

Engine Power Systems (EPS), Baton Rouge, LA 225-751-8500 [email protected] Geoff is the owner/tuner with about 15yrs tuning experience.

EPS is currently under develpment for the 14 models but has tuning available for prior GM mainly under the LS and LT platforms.

 

Futral Motorsports, Walker, LA 877-784-FAST [email protected] Allan is owner/tuner with about the same 15yrs tuning experience.

FM has tuning available for mostly LS and LT GM platforms and has been doing some tuning on 14's.

 

 

Both are very reputable in the GM community.

PCM of NC is a great place based on reviews from forum members that have had their trucks tuned there. They are about 30-40 mins north of Charlotte. If you are in the Tri-Cities or east TN it's wouldn't be a bad drive. Thats where I will be driving to when I pull the trigger on a tune.

Yes and I recommend him as well. He's a better choice than Performance Plus.
