corncob Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 I think those pics pretty much sum up if you can fit 295/70r18s on a leveled 2014+. NO! That's a tall tire on stockers. Looks like your ATs in your truck bed had plenty of life left! It really depends on the brand of tire. The STT Pro 295/70/18 are taller than some others by almost 1/2". CHowell's tires are pretty much the same spec height as mine, but they are 1/2" narrower. Perhaps his stock offset helps a bit, too, but I'm really really surprised his don't rub. A 1/2" in width wouldn't help in my case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Iceman22 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Anyone running the Fuel "sledge" wheel? Code # 595 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SuperSierra Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 UPS delivered four presents from DTD today and I test fit my new wheels and tires. Gonna have to do a bit of trimming and zip-tie work tomorrow evening and then we should be good to go [emoji1360] LRG 104 18x9 +0 w/ 295/70r18 STT Pros Leveled 3" w/ King Coilovers and Cognitos UCAs and 3" Readylift blocks in the back. corncob Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Those shocks and tires look bad @ss Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thanks, I'm extremely happy with the combo. After talking to DTD yesterday though, I think I might go down to 285/65r18 tires so I don't have to trim. The fact that the STT Pros run on the larger end of the 295/70r18 spectrum AND the 0 offset of the wheels is proving to be a bigger trim job than I planned and it a bit too close to the cab mount for comfort (I can't guarantee it won't rub during travel even after trimming). Due to the offset issue, I'm also considering switching to wheel with +10 to +20 offset. Unfortunately the LRG 104's don't come that way, and I'm having a hard time finding something similar with satin or matte black and a bit of milled accent. I would like to stay away from gloss black, but most with milled options use that so it's proving difficult. These are under consideration right now. Fuel Boost (matte option) +14 Ballistic Tank (gloss) +13 Mayhem Warrior (gloss) +18 The same Mayhems in all matte w/ no milled - I wish they would have combined the two... Black Rhino Sidewinder (all black matte) +12 Black Rhino Warlord (matte gunmetal) +12 Grid GD7 (matte black) +15 I wish they made the GD2 in 18x9... And the fallback, Fuel Maverick +14/20. I like these but they aren't a top favorite and they are super common around the area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

I went with the fuel octane only because it came with 20 mm offset they aren't the best looking but I like how the face is so far back. My truck rims My jeep rims If you look where the spokes come out they are pretty much all Ground off. so watch out for rims that stick out further then the tire wall Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

Rkaroll953 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 No rub at all on the wheel wells. I'll post pictures when I get home. There is a slight rub on UCAs when I go as full lock as possible but it is VERY slight. I had 285/75 Toyo ATs before this and never had a problem with that size at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk are you just leveled? my 295/70/18 trail grapplers rub slightly, wonding if it is just the width as yours are taller

corncob Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 are you just leveled? my 295/70/18 trail grapplers rub slightly, wonding if it is just the width as yours are taller Any chance you have a picture of the rubbing? My 295/70r18 STT Pros rub hard with a 3" level on 0 offset. Trail grapplers: 34.57" x 11.73" STT Pros: 34.49" x 12" I have a hard time imagining the 1/4" width difference is taking a bad rub to a slight rub. Here's mine. The worst rub is actually about 1/2" farther outside - I didn't take the time to get the exact picture. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk i will have to take one when i get home, they actually hit the plastic cap on the cab corner there, i trimmed it and now it barely touches but only in reverse when im going over a curb or sidewalk or bump etc. I dont really think they are true to size like urs are probably more narrow and only like 34in tall. i also have 0 offset rims 1
Oldcabin01 Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Just added some Hostile Strykers. 22x12 on 35" Toyo MT's with 6" lift. Loving it thus far! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 5

corncob Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 My trimming I did Thanks! Looks like you barely had to trim at all. It definitely looks like it fits way better than the STT Pros! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
