Stock offset for the 20" wheel is 23. Please forgive me I'm learning as i go here, but will i need the extra 7mm that you have to run a 275/65/20?

RC 2.5inch with rear blocks is going on today, tires tomorrow. Gonna test fit the 275/65r20s and the 305/55r20 Ko2s. I've read that 275/65r20 will rub slightly but a little trim or pulling back fender liner will solve this, but worry that and change in driving conditions will shove the tire straight into the well. The 305/55r20 I've heard fits no problem. Just worried that it won't be a noticeable difference from stock tire.

305/55r20 is a big tire, it's absolutely noticeable from stock not even a question. 275/65 will look stuffed, I'm personally not a fan of that look as it takes away from your lift and makes it look more like a stock set up but slightly taller. I'm doing a 285/55r20 and that's really close to stock. Here is a pic of 285/55r20 with a 3.5 lift. It definitely has the "ice skate" look but I think it looks great, I'm doing the 2.5 lift so it won't be quite as much wheel well. 8a4608f0ffbed9d0b326102ce0229a9f.jpg

I think you'll be ok. I'll reinspect the clearances. I think tire clearance will be better. But I'll look and take some pics.

I agree with you not to have too much tire... i think that 3.5 lift with a 295/55 would look just about right.

The 305's would be pretty alright too.

They're both flirting with the line of being a true 33.

Ended up with the 275/65r20 BFG Ko2 on the stock 20s, super happy with it. Only rubs at full lock, left, on the driver side, in reverse. Just need to pin the liner back and I should be fine. Wish I had a lower offset but some spacers will have to do for now should be ordered soon. Crappy pic and not a flattering angle, I'll take a few more tomorrow. Looks 100% better in person

I may take that plastic piece off of the front bumper tomorrow.. idk yet might make it look a little more aggressive.

be careful with how large of spacers you get. with a 34" tire you could rub the fenders with too much offset.
