I saw this a couple of months ago, even with all the extras that they put on there it still can't handle all that, instead of the ambulance they need to bring the straight jackets and the short bus. I don't think your insurance pays for intentional stupidity.

The raptor is heavy thats why it took it a second off the line and our engines are good for low end torque. Any ideas on mods your going to do? Thats why i went 6.2 im hoping a raptor will line up with me

Had a new guy a work bragging up is svt, coffee breaks never shut up about his stupid raptor. Then FINALLY the day came he asked me for a race I was like

"um ya ok shir I guess, I heard those raptors are pretty damn quick [emoji48]"

He's like oh ya, it's got exhaust intake and a tuner it's got like 877388483 RWHP man, good luck. Ahahah everybody at work was in on it too cuz they knew.

Lined em up on our private road in front of our shop. I held nothing back, launched at 15psi and totally blew that thing out of the water.right in front of everybkdy, bosses included lol...and I had a two dirt bikes in the back of the truck ahah. Then he says well that's not a fair race urs has a turbo charger pffffftt

I don't work much at that shop much anymore (I'm a field guy) but when I do buddy is awfully quiet LOLOLLL

yup....they were phasing the 6.2 out. If I remember correctly they are stopping production for a year and then a relaunch.

The raptor could have had a 5.4, didn't they have that at first? And op what engine and diff ratio do you have? That makes all the difference and if you have anything less than a 3.73 I don't see the point in modding to beat a raptor or anything else. That diff is a huge compromise because fuel efficiency was just too much to of a focus.

First batch of Raptors had the 5.4 and were only available in SuperCab config. Ecoboost is still not a Raptor option.

Only way to get an ecoboost in is an aftermarket swap, a few people do it.

i had a little fun with a rapter on my way to WI somewhere in the middle of Iowa we were on the highway and started playing around a little. i let him get a head start from about 50 then proceeded to put the smack down on him and from behind managed to pass and put a couple car lengths on him on my way to 115 before i hit the speed limiter.

the whole time he was on the floor and still couldn't keep up! lol
