New radio issue happened to me yesterday

So I have my presents for the radio all setup like I'm sure all of you do. I usually switch through them by using the steering wheel controls and not mylink. I was driving yesterday and went to switch to another present when I observed the menu come up on the dash but my presets were gone. On mylink they were all still there but for whatever reason, the menu on the dash had none. I would just say something along the lines of "no presets at this time" or something like that. I got to where I was going turned off the truck and came back to it a few minutes later and turned it back on. Presets were now back and everything was working as normal. Not sure if this has anything to do with the recall that I'm going in for tomorrow reference the radio blacking out or not. It's not that big of a deal to me just something new that happened. Anybody else have that happen as well?

Mine did this last week, just glad it affects the radio and not the fuel or fire or transmission. I will bring it up when mine goes in for maint.

Mine did this last week as well. I tried turning the MyStink radio off and on several times and it did not reset.

The next morning everything worked fine.

I've had this happen lately as well. If you press the preset buttons on the my link screen it will reprogram the presets in the dash or just turn the truck off and it will be back on start up. That is what I have seen anyway.

Happened to me once. I can also recreate a bug that brings the left dic menu up but it scrolls the menu behind. Just have to go right then left to fix it. Issues seem to appear when pressing buttons too fast. The Ford I drive for work had similar issues. Screen would cut out once in a while then come back when it felt like it but the radio was still functional.

you mean.....welcome to the GM electronic age

Dude, read the last post before this. I've had glitches with a Ford radio, and not just one truck either, it was common between all the trucks I drove. Another common issue with them was the fan control knob quit working for a period of time. Which is also computer controlled.

Personally I'd rather have the steering wheel controls just cycle to the next available station... haven't been able to figure that out. Woes me...
