What supercharger are you going with?

My next mods are hi flow cats and maybe headers. Hope to win a set of flowmasters @ 50% off next week.

I really like that color combo on the Vette. Can't wait to see a silver Z06, I don't think any of the show cars have been anything other than yellow or blue. Dang, if they just had a back seat

Can't wait until Dyno Day!

I was listening to a car cast, they had a SVT fanboy on. He was mentioning with a tune, CAI and exhaust the SHO makes well over 400. And, they are pretty easy to find for low 20k with low to below avg mileage.

Peaks my interest for a daily and kid hauler, having AWD and all.

Probably go with a ECS or A&A, they both seem reliable and put out about the same hp

The back wheel bolt holes (on the wheel) were drilled out to fit 5/8" studs. They don't have a 5/8" adaptor. The studs are only threaded for the first inch. They said they had never seen anything like it, and the lug nuts were machined down flat, not conically, and a flast washer was fitted between the but and wheel surface. I need to get new studs and lugs for sure, they were sure if I can safely put regular lug but on again with these wheels the way they are drilled. If I can find these wheels with 5/8" holes I will be fine, just swap them.

OK, those wheels are made in 5/8 stuff sizes, so I think I'm going to see if I can get 1/2 studs I'm that spot, but since there are 5/8" stud NOW, not sure of that is possible.

Most likely require new axles, I would be a bit nervous running 1/2" studs with that kind of horsepower especially if you have some sticky shoes on her

To be clear, I believe new lug nuts will fix the wheel fitament safety issue.

They were flabbergasted over the trouble someone went to to rig those lugs, when they probably just needed different lug nuts. They wanted these wheels to fit, so they drilled the wheels, and custom machined the lug nuts flat instead of conical. And found a washer to fit. There is a little play, and I think I just need to get conical lug nuts again, as the cone will fill the "gap" between stud and wheel. These current flat nuts don't, causing the play. Bizarre.

A customer came in toward the end, and really like my theory the builder ran out of money and patience, and that's why most of the car is top dollar, but some small pieces were "made to work".

The stud change is so they could dyno it, the way the thing mounts, it needs so much distance to fit to the hub, and my car is mini tubbed with a narrowed axle. Less room to mount the machine. They said it would work if I had fully threaded studs, a modified(literally custom made) wheel spacer(which would probably be ridiculous to have made just for this), or revert to standard 1/2".

The good things is the main guy said he is sure the car makes well I over 500 to the wheels, so I have someone else who agrees with that.

They said many times that is was a very nice car that looks very well built(besides the strange nuts)

Looked around, flat lug nuts with washers isn't uncommon, several drag wheel companies make them for drag racing. It just wasn't done correctly in this instance.
