I broke her

 

This exhaust is 40 years old, so I'm not surprised. The rubber hangers were dryrotted but apparently recently they broke, so.. backing it in, had to get a running start cos of this lip and an open diff.. it hooked the U bolts.. tore it right up.

 

Had to cut it off with a sawzall. She's open pipe now on this side. I'll have to trailer it to a shop in the near future I guess.

Yes, but that is part of my weekly tv. I have never been impressed with the suspension of either car, but i have not driven a 1LE or ZL1 nor have i driven an SVT or performance pack mustang.

I was disappointed by the video because I like the looks of the new Stang, and now it means GM could rest easy on the 5th gen. GM needs to be pushed hard to improve. They have a long history of getting lazy.

Got it out today with the twins and wife. Caused some whiplash on passersby. Some days everyone has to look.

 

I was waiting on something in a store, my wife took the boys out to put in the car herself. She got some strange looks, late 20s mom loading 2 year olds through a roll cage in a old muscle car with 6" cowl hood.

 

 

It did perfect. One 7 mile trip, one 5 mile, and a one mile. I've learned the quirks!
