Recon Headlights Available

Wound up on Recon's site and came across these. For as much anticipation as there was, I figured they would have sent out more info about the release. They were buried in the "whats new" section. And yes, they are only out for the Silverado. They use smooth OLED halos and drls. They come with standard hologen bulbs (x4), H7 low and H1 high for upgrade. I was hoping they'd come in at the Anzo headlight price point.

Not too many years ago you could to to a muffler shop and buy a set of Flowmasters installed for $100. Now they want to sell you "cat-back" for $1500!!!

Haha, I remember people paying over $1k for Subaru exhausts back then. I bought a downpipe for $125 and then had a muffler shop do the rest. All together it was around $250 and I didn't have to touch anything.

The last gen headlights can be had for under 500 so I guess when they are no longer new, there's hope.

I'm betting Anzo's orders just went way up. Don't get me wrong, they look good, but not 1k good.

Yeah I don't see what they did that justifies double the cost of the anzos. Not to mention they put some crappy reflector in for the high beam. No bueno.

So, are these lights different in that they swapped hi and low lights, or are the clear/chrome ones upside down...? I'm thinking the latter.

The Clear/chrome one is Upside down as you can see the mounting bracket in the picture.
