You should. The kit is $180 from Zone and easy to install. If you pay an installer, they'll charge $300-$400 which still isn't bad. Still has the factory ride.

I already have rancho quick lifts the body lift would be so I can fit a set of 35x12.5r20 I have. Right I am running 275/65r20 they come out to 34.1"x10.8

Could I run 295/70/18 with the RC 2.5" level and 1.5" body lift?

im running 33x12.5x20 with -24 on a 1.5 body and 2in level front only and don't rub. 17 silverado

I've got a 2.5 inch level on my '16 and am interested in a BL like most people on here.

The install of the BL itself seems pretty straightforward, but I'm not really aware of what comes with the process. What happens with my hitch in the rear? Tow hooks in the front? are people with 1.25 or 1.5" BL showing any noticeable gap where gap guards would be needed?

I have a video up on youtube of exactly this topic. Its called 07-13 chevy silverado 1500.I would post a photo but cant figure out how to do it off my phone. I currently own a 2008 chevy 1500 z71 single cab long bed.I have the rough country 2 inch strut leveling kit,and a 1.5 inch zone offroad body lift kit. I used to just run a regular spacer leveling kit,but after putting both a 2inch level and 1.5inch body lift It looks so much better. Im currently running my stock 18s with a 265/65r18 goodyear wrangler duratrac which is 32.5inch. you could easily run 33s with a new rim with correct backspacing and some wheel spacers. I do recommend taking the front air spliter off it makes your tires look bigger from the front. Hope this helps!

With the body lift you will need to buy the front and rear bumper relocation brackets. Your hitch will stay in the same spot as it is attached to your frame. Only thing getting lifted is the body off frame. If you don't get the relocation brackets their will be gaps from body to bumper and it looks terrible in the front. And decent in the back you could get away with the rear not the front.

This is a pic of my truck finally got it to upload. Has a 2inch leveling kit and 1.5 inch body lift. Running stock 18s and 32.5inch 265/65r18 goodyear wrangler duratracs.

Good to know, Appreciate it! Any idea about gaps on the bed? would i need gap guards for that? dont want to be able to see through the truck from one side to the other...

I already had plastic fender well linings in my truck from factory. So when i put the body lift on their was no gap between frame and body. It basically made it look like a 2500 where a little bit more of the frame is visible. The front has a little gap but nothing to bad.

Good to know, Appreciate it! Any idea about gaps on the bed? would i need gap guards for that? dont want to be able to see through the truck from one side to the other...

Mine has that noise dampening carpet material in the wheel wells. I'll have to check to see how much play I have with those between the body and frame. Maybe I can get away with that being long enough to still cover the additional gap

I’ve got 2 different Level and Body Lift Setups I’ll be posting.

First couple of pictures are 2.5” Rough Country Level with Rear blocks, 2” Performance Accessories body lift on 295/55/20 Toyo Open Country AT 2 Extreme tires, factory wheels.

Next Couple are same setup, plus 1.5” Hubcentric Wheel Adapters.

I personally went with the 2” body lift because I already had a 2.5” Level on it and I was looking to have 4-5” of lift on the truck. The 2” body lift cost me $800 installed vs $2,500 for a 4 or 5” suspension lift to achieve the same look basically. Overall I am very happy with my setup. Sitting at 4.5” total lift over stock, I am right where I wanted to be with it. Still not settled on the 1.5” Wheel Adapters all the way around. I like it, but they may stick out a bit farther than I really want them to and I’m not 100% sure I trust them, especially on the front. I had them on my old 2006 2500HD Diesel on the rear and towed heavy with it, with no problems. Just still undecided. The Wife likes it better without them on.

And for the record, with these factory wheels, I am 100% confident 1.25” Wheel Adapters would work......and about 90% sure 1” would work. These wheels have a pocket on the back side that is at or just over 1/2” deep. Studs are 1”. I may attempt 1” Adapters and see what happens.
