The Mercury Topaz hit number 7!? Don't they mean the Ford Topaz? Those things haven't been in production since the early 90s! not to mention dirt slow.

Silverado is #94 and 22.8%.

Sierra is #221 and 20.0%

 

Which means either Sierra drivers follow laws more closely than Silverado, or cops like Sierra drivers more.

Or the more likely reasoning, this like so many other ratings/rankings is BS.

I have to many tickets to count in my Sierra. 6 in the past 3 years in California

There's an 1/8 mile drag about an hour from me, but it's been awhile since I've been so I don't know if it's even still open. If it is open they've closed it for winter by now.

 

As for country roads I agree. Just have to make sure a cop doesn't live on that road lol. I tested the speed governor and a quick 0-60 on my new truck on a back road that I knew well. I really need to get rid of the 3.08 gears lol.
