Make a jumper from the factory harness to the Rigid. You can buy them on Ebay or make one from a bulb. Put the Rigid type Deutsch connector on the other end of the jumper. Why cut the harness if it isn't necessary?

Just did this install. I cut the hardness. It hurt to do but just went ahead and did it. Kit is great. Bolts could have been a bit longer but they'll work. I did it with the bumper on the truck. If I do another I might bite the bullet and take the bumper off.

I see that Rigid is coming out with D2 lights that have both high and low beams.

They are also coming out with DOT approved Dually lights. Would like to hear some reviews or see them in person before purchasing for own truck. Right now I'm looking at the D2 driving lights

D2 driving pattern are a nice addition with my HID's. Much brighter actually. Added diode on relay to run with high beams. Cut and spliced into factory harness with no issue. Highly recommended.

I love my D2's, mine aren't the hi/low or the DOT ones. I have 35w HID's and these things put the HID's to shame. Highly recommended to anyone, for the price, they are WELL worth it.

I used that harness that came with the D2's and hooked it directly to the passenger fog light wiring. Blue wire from Rigid harness to Red fog light wire. They function as they should.

Still trying to get my diode in to make the fog lights stay on with the brights! I'm having trouble getting the diode to push in far enough to stay put.
