Hahaha. You already know I would be crazy enough to do that. But I'd probably set him up on a 12v system first. I'm sure I have some spare Braille or Odyssey car batteries laying around here. Just gotta hook them up to a charger and good to go. Maybe find one of my little Braille lithium batteries (fast charge time, very long cycle time and almost no memory)

Although not a GM product here is my son's Dodge Charger Police car with some extra LED lighting that I added a year and a half ago. I do have more to add I have the Whelen traffic advisor control head and 8 sets of amber LEDs to simulate the traffic advisor. Sorry I don't know how to embed the video.

The 6v are one seaters only I think. They do okay with my boys, last year they got a set of Lightning McQueen 6v models from inlaws

 

Bought my lil one a 12 volt single seat corvette for xmas this year. cant wait to see him drive it.

Speaking of powerwheels. Do you guys know what wheelhorse garden tractors are? Me and 10 of my friends hooked up 5 power wheels to a garden tractor with ropes (we're 18 and we had too much to drink) and we got pulled around going 20 mph on this tractor and the motors caught on fire from going too fast and the driver of the tractor wouldnt stop and we were doing this on a road at 2:30 am in the middle of the country and the setup was -garden tractor, 5 power wheels, and a riding mower trailer with 5 22 yr olds in the trailer and on the road he would swerve the tractor going top speed and each time the whole row of power wheels kept hitting eachother and we would flip them and they would keep going and i was the 1st one and each time i flew out i got ran over by 5 200 pound power wheels on concrete and a 600 pound trailer. Then the driver took it though the ditch with an open diff and we got stuck. It was a hell of a night lol. Man was i tore up the next morning. And then the driver did donuts and we all flipped at the same time. We ran a stop sign over with the power wheels only and it bent the stop sign to the ground holy shit the plastic power wheels totaled a steel sign. The power wheels all caught on fire lol
