Grille openings too big on SLE model

Hi all,

 

I'm up to my 3rd dead bird I pull out of between my grille and radiator. This is the first time I get a problem like this in a vehicle. Anyone else have had this happening? Or does anyone have a fix for this without having to change the grille or spending too much?

I think it's more surprising that you've hit 3 birds just right that they stuck in your grill, than the fact the openings are too big.

I put a T-REX grill insert in mine looks great....in my book!lol

Been looking for grille inserts on Ebay. $150 for fake chrome plastic inserts shipped to Canada. I guess this is the type of prices we'll have to deal with at least until the truck gets a few years old.

They were pretty small birds I only saw one as I hit it but I had to get my long nose pliers 3 times in there to pull them out of there.

Jerry this is the same grill as mine.....

I had 2 birds fly into my rad almost as soon as I bought the truck.

Also fitted a T-REX billet grill.

Looks like it's only Canadians that get birds in their rad.

Maybe it's true, that everything is bigger in the US.
