Dissappointed in Weathertech's Customer service

Recommended Posts

I have bought Weathertechs for three other vehicles with no issues.

However, The ones that I bought for my 2014 Denali do not fit well at all.

I did order them from Cabelas. WT's Customer service would like me to use a hair dryer to reshape them or either take it up with Cabela's Customer service.

Rediculous...

Thank you for the pictures. After reviewing pictures, the parts you have are correct.

I do see how the corners are bending in. This is rare but when it does happen we recommend that the liners be removed, turn them inside out, leave them like this overnight and in the morning turn them right side in again. Or you can re-shape them by using a blow dryer on medium heat and bend them back.

If this does not help you’ll have to contact Cabela’s for a warranty replacement. If they have any questions they can contact their sales representative here.

Sounds reasonable. Mine "sagged in" as you put it, but settled after a few days.

So did you at least try their fixes yet?

You should get better service if you ordered them directly through WeatherTech but since you ordered them through Cabelas they should provide you the service and handle the returns etc.. It stinks but I do notice most of the time you get better service if you order directly with that company involved

I have tried all they suggested, and more, nothing helped. Went back to the same curled in shape in a few days. Problem is they don't stay put and the lower quarter panels push them in.

when did you order your weather techs? i just got some for my 2014 and the drivers side has some tabs that come with it that go around the two pins in the carpet for the OE floor mats. then they give you a set for the passenger side and these two circle things with velcro on one side and a plastic screw that you screw into your carpet so now the passenger side floor mats have something that holds them in place. mine have been in a few weeks and they have not moved or curled up. i ordered my floor mats from weathertech directly.

I think I bought mine in July. The truck isn't my daily driver, so I've tried to "live" with the defect. If they were going to "settle in" it would have already happened.

I went with Husky and I am glad I did. No issues - just put them in and forget about it.

Take them back to Cabelas, get a reund. Take that money an go get a set of Husky's. Weathertech has good products, but they really dropped the ball on the 2014+ floor liners. I'm sure they are really feeling the pressure from unsatisfied customers with the new GM trucks.

That is why I went with Husky this time around. I've had mine in for over a year now, not one problem. Check them out, you won't be sorry.

Ordered last April I believe. Tech support wouldn't send me the accessories for the passenger side, I have to process a warranty claim through my distributor (didn't buy directly). Still, the driver's side continues to curl even with the clips. The movement is juuuust enough. They didn't leave enough clearance in the quarter panel area so even the slightest movement leads to curl.

Mine suck as well. Actually, the big one for the rear is a nice fit, but both fronts curl in and look like crap.
