The sound enhancement fools people who don't know any better. Basically the same thing as a slick talking salesman pulling one over on a chump.

It's hard to say whether adding the EB motor to the Raptor will help or hurt sales... On one side you have all the EgoBoast fanboys that will buy anything with one it it, but then you have the guys who think they're getting a trophy truck and want the v8, because that's what trophy trucks have.

I agree, the thing is though...you don't buy a raptor for gas mileage and in all honesty with 35s the Ecoboost isn't going to make that much considerable difference at least i don't think it will. It's like buying a ZR1 then complaining about how it doesn't get good gas mileage. Would've used the z06 as an example but it turns out it does get good mpg. The truck is meant for racing. Not that your saying that they are there are just those that do complain about gas mileage. I get their complaint but other than some eco diesels we're just not there in the truck market. Even regular half tons when used like a truck their MPG plummets.

Very bad ass. Not liking how the roof rack is mounted from the bed rails. I'm also hoping those hood scoops are functional, I can't stand any kind of scoops or vents that aren't functional.

Sure hope GM puts the 6.2L in that beast. As for the eco boost raptor, I`m sure with those 35`s it will be slow as a turd. :loser: that's just my .02cents

I'll be honest I did some major thinking last night. And I probably should've gotten a raptor (flame suite on). Hear me out. We paid 41 for my SLT loaded with everything. I'm going to wind up putting 5-6k in it worth of mods to get it off road worthy. Bilstein shocks, HID, aftermarket bumper, exhaust, grille guard, rims, tires, CAI, fender flares, tune, and then maybe headers. Yet still won't have the prowess for off-roading that a raptor has in power or suspension travel. All the while probably costing as much as a raptor. I have no interest in the ecoboost raptor but if I had it to do over again I would get one.

The second question is do I need one? No when it comes right down to it I don't. But the same could be said for my sierra.

Asked a friend of mine what kind of mpg he was getting out of his raptor with 35s and he told me 15 avg. I estimate I'll be around there are putting 33" RTs on my truck.
