2014 v 2015

Sorry if this comes off as a dumb question but I just bought a 15 Silverado and I've looked on auto anything for tuners and exhausts. The 15 only has half of the parts available than the 14. Did they change much from 14 to 15? My truck was built in September so could I buy 14 parts or no? Thanks in advance

Companies just haven't updated their websites. There is no significant difference bx '14s and '15s.

Austingta Is right, only real change that I've seen between 14' and 15' is the 6.2L has the 8 speed tranny, LTE connection whereas the 14's have 3G (for onstar and the onboard wifi module that you can get) and the 15' Denalis have the magnetic ride control. So if what you are getting has anything to do with any of those things, then I would wait or email the companies and make sure that there are no changes being made to those aftermarket parts/add ons. If the parts you are getting has nothing to do with those things, then I see no reason why they wouldn't be a 100% direct fit

Correction! 14's have 2G CDMA network!! that is why remotelink is so damn slow!!

Canadians will apparently get the LTE upgrade "soon", solutions should be provided to dealers by Jan 2015, and hardware availability in 2015 sometime. I am guessing the States will get too. Only reason Canada gets it first because CDMA is getting shutdown sometime in 2015, they have to ensure RemoteLink app still works!

If you have the 8 speed, the tuner devices may not work. I don't know if the exhaust routing was affected by the 8 speed.
