There are a LOT of stainless exhaust tips out there. I'm looking for something for my 2014 Sierra SLE 5.3L that looks great and will last. Any recommendations?

Seeing that you also have a black truck, well getting it lol. I went with 3" or 3 1/2" slash cut black chrome tips which I think look great on a black truck. I don't know the brand, just had a shop do the exhaust and told them I wanted black tips. With regular chrome it doesn't take long for them to look bad even coming straight out the back like my 98. So that's one of the reasons I went with black. It shows dirt of course, but it seems like all I need is a good rinse to clean them.

So that's as far as my opinion goes, I say at least get black chrome for a black truck.

Got a call that I may be able to pick up the truck Monday. It needs a present. Looking at the Gibson Slash tip. Haven't decided yet, though. Definitely like the angle cut tips.

I have a slightly different motivation. My two dogs run around the truck in the driveway like crazy and the tailpipe is eye level for them. The tailpipe has an extremely sharp edge. I bought a factory tip with the angle and, more importantly, the rolled edge.

Yea I also bought the oem tip with the GMC emblem embedded and I love it so far it was 90$ a bit pricey but so far the quality is a 10 in my books.

Ordered the Gibson Slash tip. 3" inlet, 3.5" outlet, 12" length. Hope it fits.

Wrong size. UGH! I even confirmed it with AutoAnything before ordering. 5.3L Sierra actually needs a 2.75" inlet, not 3". Have to find a FedEx store to ship it back and wait for the right size now.
