Am trading up to a High Country this week. Have been pleased with truck. Only problem I have had is the heated seats - this is a common issue.

Yeah I don't know about that my lower fogs when they are on go straight out to the sides of the road I mean 30-40 feet on each side and light up the dead area between the front of the truck and the normal headlights. I wasn't being sarcastic about people needing glasses but seriously if these aren't bright enough for you then your gonna blind people even worse if you get anything brighter lol. I already have people flashing the highs at me all the time and I never use my high beams don't need them. Lol

Honestly...no. There are a lot of good things about the 2014's and 15's but I went backwards from a 2002 Silverado. My radio, heated seats and headlights were much better on my 2002. I don't think GM gives a damn about all the problems. It's 2 years later and they are still pumping out these trucks with the horrible headlights and all the other problems. Who would ever think you spend a ton of money on a vehicle that on remote start the heated seats don't warm up. In my opinion, I think GM knows the majority of people are too passive on things not working and they can get away with just putting trucks out there 2 years later after knowing they have problems. I see people on here spending hundreds of dollars just to fix headlights. Headlights in the year 2014 after testing this truck for years. About a year ago I read that GM makes the most money on the new Sierra and Silverado then any other vehicle. We bailed them out with our tax money and they can't even get a headlight fix after 2 years....but just keep pumping them out. We deserve better and should demand it other wise they will just keep throwing anything at us as long as it doesn't cost them money. That goes for all the motor company's not just GM Just my opinion.

The Heated Seats during Remote Start has to be turned on in the settings.

I never used my highs on my 05, like literally never, turns out I don't use them on my 14 either there pointed at the sky lol sure wish I could, gonna play with adjustments when weather brakes but sound like if I bring them down the regular lights point at the ground worst then they do, oh well, set the cruise and worry about nothing

In a heartbeat. 4 months and still can't wait to find somewhere to go. Wife loves that I'm eager to run to the store at 11 o'clock at night

I love my 2014 ltz [emoji14] I had the issue with the seat moving but the dealer fixed it and I do have a vibration but mine is lifted six inches with 35 inch tires and they have kinda became offbalanced but other than that I haven't had any problems

We have the seat movement issue. What was the fix?

Other than that, we love the heck out of our truck. An absolute beast, esp in the snow.

The dealer has a recall thing on it I can't remember what it's called but they only fix it if you complain about it [emoji14] they have to order the parts in to fix it btw

Traded in my 2014 Silverado Z71 on a fully loaded 2015 Sierra SLT...so far very happy! The only reason I made the move was the financial incentive. I was able to trade in my Chevy at the private party KBB + value and lock in a great deal on a lease.

The only complaint as of now, (if GM would only read this):

- 2015 Sierra came with a set of GoodYear Eagle LS2 tires...I'm not sure who has approved this shady deal, as these tires are only good in Florida and Arizona, and they do not belong on a 4x4 truck. After putting a set of Michelin LTX MS2 shoes on, I was amazed with the performance in the snow. These tires cost a bit more, but on a $50k truck there should be enough margin to put a respectable quality tire on right from the factory.

- Expected more Apps for music/entertainment as a part of the 2015 package. Pandora is OK, however there is a host of additional music streaming apps that should have been preinstalled. The weather app, in particular, I thought was a part of the 4G/LTE package; after a brief conversation with an Onstar advisor I was told that is not the case. XM feeds the weather app...4G/LTE hotspot feature should have been bundled in with Spotify, Slacker Radio, TuneIn Radio or Songza. I'm sure many owners would be willing to pay for the hotspot feature should these music apps were included.

the problem with "buying again" is there are no better options than the 2015. Almost everyone here would rather not be seen in a Ford. And RAM scares everyone else. Tundra is really the only option most would consider.

The problem is there just isn't anything better. I dislike a lot about my truck, from the infotainment to the climate controls to no rear ac vents. There just isn't a better option other than the 2012 I had, which was way too small in the back seat.

Your also talking about a board full of GM homers that will buy nothing else, regardless. But to say GM trucks are on top of a hill looking down at the others is a fallacy.

i dunno, if you compare the denali to others, nothing compares except maybe the platinum F150. If you're just looking at a SLE or LT I'd for sure be looking at Nissan/Toyota.

That very well might be a fair assumption. But really if the Denali was the average truck sold and then maybe we could use that, but seeing as how the denali represents probably less than 15% of total GM truck sales I dont think its a fair gauge. Id throw out Nissan as sales figures and history is terrible, but the other 4 I really dont think when your talking about the truck on an average basis they are really all that different.

I also have had virtually no problems with my truck. My only complaints have been the numerous recalls, which seem to have stopped, and what I consider poor gas mileage (14.8 MPG over 13,000 or so miles). But with gas running about 2 bucks a gallon (at least for now) that's less of a concern.

But other than that, this is the best vehicle I have ever owned, and I'm 52 so I've owned a few.......I do feel bad for those who have had issues, some serious, though......
