Oil Pressure guage reading 0

Oil pressure guage stopped working/reading 0. Needle does not move from 0 when key is turned on. Verified that engine does have good oil pressure. I did have an oil leak problem right around the same time the gauge stopped working. Turned out to be oil cooler lines. How should I go about troubleshooting this?

If the guage doesnt't "sweep" like the others do when you key it up, you probably have a guage/cluster issue. I don't know o anyone who repairs clusters, we just replace them for about $300 parts and labor. Besides the fact that the engine is still alive, how do you know it has oil pressure?

I had a mechanical guage hooked up to it to verify pressure.

Thinking sensor but since it's kind of a PITA I just wanted to see what others thought before I replace it.

What does a scanner say about the IPC DATA ??
