Lol this forum is a bad influence. It wasn't until I joined the site that I started pouring money into my truck. There was only a handful of things I had planned prior to joining, but now it has become a money pit. Well, now I've run out of things to do and need some ideas on what to do next. Maybe some of you could help out. Forums are the devil. Haha Here's a list of what I've done so far, all done at home.

Morimoto HID 35W 5000K

VLED Fog Light Bulbs

GM All-Weather Floor Mats w/GMC Logo

GM Driver A-Pillar Assist Handle

Headers, y-pipe, computer tune, and wheels are in my distant future, or I say. I would love to do a supercharger, but that's not in the budget right now. I'm not looking for a taller lift either because my truck barely fits in my garage.

Oh hell, do i need to type up a disclaimer informing new members that this site makes you want to spend money?

Yes a disclaimer would be wise. Lol Particularly to people who are new to forums.

I've had the truck 6 months! I can't start over yet. Ha

I agree, I've gotten a lot of good info and ideas from here. Well said.

As I mentioned, I'm not new to forums and certainly not new to the mod bug. I just recently got rid of a 700rwhp C6 Vette with $20K in mods. Before that a low 9 second naturally aspirated Camaro with $40k in mods. I've had all kinds of toys. I miss my 2500 Duramax. I had about $17k in that truck and was a beast.

Thanks to those for the compliments. I shoulda got the garage built higher. I would like my truck to sit a little higher.

Mod the garage and go higher with the truck :driving:

cold air intake and tune will prob be the easiest next mods for you. I'm interested to see what that comes up with your current set up.

Bc I'm getting Toyo Mt's installed today.

BlackOps,

I see you have 295/55/20's on your stock wheels. Are you getting any rubbing at all? If not, is this the widest and tallest tire you can run without issues?

On my last two Tundras, I did an auto-down tailgate. When I hit the unlock button on the key remote 4 times, the tailgate would fall down. The Tundras have had the easy down and easy-up tailgate/ torsion bar in the tailgate since the 2007 model. It was very handy, and got a lot of attention walking out from a C-store with a 30 pack and a couple bags of ice, and the tailgate magically opening for the cooler...

Here are some links to the tundra forums that I used to do it.

Oh, and here is a link to this forum where someone has already done it.....

Really? You have to ask what's next?

Trade the truck in for a new one and start again, of course!
