My Oakley flak jacket glasses fit in mine easily... I wouldn't imagine a bigger type of pair fitting in them...[emoji53]

I love how I just found out that while driving between 60-70mph I get the dreaded vibration, mostly on my seat and passenger seat. What an easter egg.

Hmmm, kind of hard to pin-point. Just feels like a vertical vibration more than anything. Maybe same as yours.

Its odd, you know. I hate to be "that guy" but I already have 25k miles on my truck and I've been harping here on day one that I thought my ride was a little rougher than expected. I also live in the DFW where 80% of our highways are always under construction so I just assumed the vibrations were due to rough roads. But the other day I was driving though a freshly paved road, going about 70mph and there was a pretty noticeable vibration on the passenger seat. Like I could visibly see it vibrating along with the seat belt. Its not so much in the steering wheel but I feel it on my seat, its also very evident when I have drinks in the center console. Now I notice vibrations around 45mph and 65mph. From what I read after digging on the 100+ page thread is that steering wheel vibrations are front wheels, body and seat vibrations are rear wheels. But who knows, I've looked at a dozen youtube videos all capturing the vibration and it seems like mine is just like that.

I just now that if I take it to the dealer they are going to give me the run around since its not a freshly new truck anymore. I have rotated my tires religiously every oil change and there are no flat spots (abs hell yea) I am due for a new inspection so I might just drop it off at the dealer and have them look at it. So far the only aftermarket parts are the intake tube and "cat-back", still oe tires, brakes, and shocks. So I will see how that goes.

But yea, love that easter egg.

Not to rain on your parade here, but this aint no easter egg, I think it is a typical feature such as a cup holder.

You are not the only one brother. Just took the first road trip this wk end and I swear I could see my hood vibrating like crazy. After driving from Chattanooga to Mid Ohio and back I was nearly nuts. I had a Diet Mnt Dew that nearly went off like a bomb after it warmed up after a few hundred miles. Yeah, Happy Easter!!

Dealer took it numerous times and did the pico testing w/ GM engineer, at the end of the day they admitted the truck had vibration, the acknowledged it was an issue, they admitted they had no fix, ultimate answer (and this is from a GM service rep and an engineer) - "there's nothing we can do, it's an engineering flaw in the design, the trucks are too stiff"

FYI- they ALL vibrate to some degree, every damn one of them, just depends on degree of severity it seems. I tried other trucks as well - 14's, 15's, work trucks and Denali- when I took them above 70 empty bed and empty cab aside from me- I noticed the vibrations.

It sucks to know that I'll have a $50k truck that vibrates for the next 3-4 years, it's embarrassing when I take out customers or coworkers, I no longer want to take the truck on road trips- I literally get nauseous if I'm traveling by myself particularly at steady highway speeds for long periods of time.

Oh- and good luck trading it, better find a Ford/Toyota/Dodge (or another GM dealer if you're a glutton for punishment) that is unaware that these trucks are ALL junk straight from the factory- frames that are quick to rust, odd electronic glitches/interference in the radio & slow as hell touch screen inputs, horrific tranny programming/performance, vibrations all over the place, crap shocks, these problems are all inherent to the design of the truck- they are not anomalies. I actually went by a local dodge dealer recently to see what they had for offers, sales guy kept prodding me on why I wanted to trade a "new truck" on a new truck, and finally he asked it "is that one of the trucks w/ the vibration problems? We've had those traded in before I can't give you blue book on it" - true story.

We all got burnt by GM- and. The guys that bought early like me got ROYALLY F'd because the price point was higher, now they're discounting trucks 10 g's!!! GM can go pound sand!!!!

Vertical vibration that feels like a hoppy wheel is caused by excessive road force. It's from the cheap tires.

Yea, I didn't upgrade my initial post on here but I went to the dealer and had my tires road force balanced. 95% of the vibration is gone but I still get the random heavier vibration at lower speeds. I just did a 12 hour drive from Dallas to Denver and the truck did feel great the entire drive up here.

My Easter egg is Grade Braking. It definitely surprised me when it turned on. I thought the engine was blowing up until I saw the message on the screen. My truck is just an LT and I don't remember seeing it on the window sticker. It is an amazing feature especially while pulling a trailer (which I was).

So returning to the thread topic: There are plastic shopping bag hooks built into the bottoms of the back seats -- just fold up the seats to access them, one on each side.

I haven't paid close enough attention but I wonder if it just the same handful of people taking every opportunity to complain about their vibration problems. In other words, this site has a VERY vocal minority when it comes to issues.
