^ I find the truck stops have poor selection and high prices. Ebay and online is where I bought everything for my setup. Bought most of my stuff from a FL CB shop online.

need photo's of install ?????

It just sits on the hump in front of the seat. I have a Re-Trax Power Pro coming and I intend to run all the power wires for both when I do that install. I also am curious on how hard it will be to drop the headliner down......any body guys out there that have done that? I don't see a down side to drilling a hole right in the middle of the roof for the antenna. Never had one to leak, easy to plug, and it won't hurt the trade in one bit.....especially if you keep one as long as I do.

I also made a quick CB Antenna mounting bracket out of a Simpson tie (plasti dipped). This uses 2 metal anchors so no-drill needed until I figure out a permanent solution. Also routed the cable to the Radio following factory wiring paths - removed the rear seats to find a route in the cab via an existing rubber grommet.

I'm going to predict your SWR will be too high.

Can you get to that grommet without removing seats?

Everything has come in for our install. Hoping to get at least one done before my weekend trip.

I browse the truck stops, when I stop for fuel, bathroom and/or snacks/drinks. They are good for on the spot replacements/improvements.

SkippyG4- Good looking install. Have you measured your SWR's yet? If so, what are they? What about wind noise with the antenna?

1.3 - 1.7. I had the local CB shop throw the pl259 connector on and check the swr for me. They were impressed about antenna and radio clarity. As far as antenna wind noise I will know tomorrow with my 6hr round trip road trip to visit my daughter at college and to visit her Chevy Colorado named Reba!

I had the same Antenna set up on my 2013 Silverado.....no wind noise. I'm really interested in the CB ya got there.....how does it perform ??....comfortable while using....looks bulky ??
