Sierra Denali 6.2L Exhaust note

Hey guys - I've only put about 50-60 miles on my new truck so far but one thing I have noticed is that the exhaust sounds strange. It runs perfect, so I am in no way saying anything is wrong, but I am coming from a 2003 Dodge Ram and the exhaust was VERY noticeable.

 

This one seems to almost warble as I steadily push on the gas pedal and then it is almost silent. The car is of course still accelerating, but I am surprised at the absence of exhaust note sometimes. is this because of the active noise canceling? I assume this is normal - again - it seems to run just fine.

It's normal, it's threadin a bobber away from putting a new button on my shirt.

Super quiet...one of the first things I did to both my 5.3 and 6.2 were switch the muffler out to something that sounds like a truck! The other thing was replace the stock tires.

What exhaust note? I only have intake grumble from mine.

 

At least until my Gibson catback arrives...

I hated the way mine sounded when it was stock. My favorite mod so far was putting on the Corsa exhaust puts a smile on my face everyday.

Yea these trucks are super quiet from the factory.

Corsa or GM Performance (Borla) fixes it for sure!
