ABS almost killed me

I have a 2004 gmc sierra 2500hd with the lb7 druramax 6.6L was driving down the road and the abs light came on so I had a buddy pull the DTC code for me and it said front right wheel speed sensor was bad so I replaced it. After replacing it I thought it was fixed because I started the truck and the light wasn't on but as I went down the road and hit the brakes it popped on and when I hit the brake it pulls to the whole truck to the drivers side like crazy and if I don't counter steer it would have pulled me into oncoming traffic. After it happens the abs light will go off and then the whole thing will happen again when I try to stop again. So for now I just unplugged the wheel speed sensor and the abs light just stays on.

Change your wheel bearing(s). The sensor is thrown off because your bearing has enough play in it to allow a "gap" in the sensing of that sensor.

Don't just change one hub change them both. If they are original or haven't been changed recently, and if you just do one, the other will be right behind. Get good hubs too (Timken, ACDelco) not cheapies.

GMT-800 HD are notorious for failing sensors. Rust builds up between the hub and the sensor, and causes an air gap between the tone ring and the sensor end.

So I replaced both hubs has new wheel speed sensors and new abs module and checked all wiring and fuses. After all this it still is doing the same thing any thoughts
