If you are passing on the GM truck, buy the Ram.

I dunno...I was | | close to buying an F150...but love my GM. Even my wife said "Not a Dodge...um...Ram".

I had a 14 and it was smooth. My 15 vibrated when I got it and all it ended up being was the crappy ls2 tires. Truck is all good now.

Basically it comes down to this...if you are looking for something hard enough, you will find it.

I was dead set on a 15 f150 after my 14 Silverado until I drove one.

I seriously doubt 400+ pages dedicated to a vibration issue is people looking hard enough to find a problem....

Dealer I go to admitted a lot of them have vibration issues. They are also going through a buy back with someone.

If you're lucky enough to not have issues, then that's great. Don't belittle people who are having issues.

If only there was a way to drive a vehicle before you paid for it... Then you would know if had a vibration before you bought it! What an incredible idea!!!

Jesus.....

This is the most disrespectful and idiotic thing I've read on this forum so far.

Really? You must not hang around here much then.

No my truck doesn't vibrate. I work in the svc dept at a Chevy dealership, and have seen one truck with a vibration, and it wasn't that bad. We swapped wheels/tires and the vibration went away, or at least the customer was happy (he's actually a member here). I hate to say it, but I would actually like to see a truck that has a vibration.

You can see mine [emoji2]

You beat me to it. I was typing the same thing.

(I didn't think it was that bad either - I'm positive I've said worse.)

Out of the 400+ pages, How many are the same people reposting. How many posts are there saying how people don't have the issue.

Where are you located in Ohio? I will bring mine to you since it is still under warranty. Do you have a PICO? I am more than willing to bring it to you.

Just over the border in Michigan. Where are you? What is a PICO?

Haha! My wife said, "you can't get a Ram because you don't work construction. Only people with dirty hands can buy a Ram"

My father in law got a 2015 F150, I test drove many brands and configs and would probably say, that if I didn't get a chevy or GMC, I would have probably gotten the F150 too.

My post, which clearly states that I had a 2015 truck that vibrated, was certainly not belittling. Honestly, if it wasn't for these forums most people would never even think they had any issues.

I don't think anyone should belittle those that have issues with their truck any more than I think that we shouldn't overstate the actual occurrence of those issues. What many have said in this thread is simply that a very small percentage of trucks has the "vibration" issue and to not extrapolate those complaints across the entire line of 14 and 15 MY trucks. Which happens all too often. If you are one with the issue, it sucks and misery loves company so those that have the issues don't want to feel like they are the only one. Hence they extrapolate and over inflate the occurrence of the issues just because THEIR truck vibrates and a dealer may have said they have seen the issue on another truck. Many times the dealers stating that know that people don't want to feel like they are the (un)lucky ones with the issues so they say what the person wants to hear. There is a very vocal tiny minority of people who have gotten legitimate lemons. Furthermore, there are trolls who come here perpetuating the myth that ALL 14/15 gm trucks vibrate. I would guess they are fans of another brand and like to troll GM fans. Seriously, don't put it past the hard core truck enthusiast to do such a thing, especially those that drive Fords

Here here

And I wouldn't put it past those RAM guys to do the same.

The only guys that you don't hear complain are the Toyota boys - probably still at the gas station.

I'm on phone and not sure how to quote a post. In answer to how many people have posted multiple times over the 400 pages, there have been about 500 different people post. IIRC, the top 10 or 20 posters are all pushing 100 replies each.

You can click on the list of messages where it says the number of replies to see this.
