is it me or I'm doing something wrong?

So I've been doing some videos so I can post so that everyone can hear my exhaust.. did a cold start, V4 mode interior sound, drive by sound.. but actually tried to do a burnout out. And complete fail!!! Yes I turned off traction control and stability track. Am I missing something else? Is there a trick? It will spin easily for 2 seconds and lag. I have a 6.2 2wd 3:42 gear ratio. I tried the search engine in our form and did not find anything. And I also tried youtube etc.. no luck

Something doesn't sound right there.. Mine will ROAST the tires, even without turning off t/c. I haven't tried holding my foot on the brake tho.. Are you holding the brake, if so, maybe the computer won't allow it?

Something isn't right. TC off, foot brake, I can obliterate the tires if I so choose. Which I may choose soon because I HATE these goodyears. In fact, I can light them up reasonably well with every nanny on.

Do you have the 2 stage accelerator? Push through where you think the floor is?

are your referring to kick down mode? If so yes

Under stock programming the ECM/TCM will not allow you to footbrake and apply throttle to do a burn out. It is under the transmission side of the torque management.

That's not true. I did one the other day just to mess with my buddy in his new Ram.

BS. On a 6.2 powered F150 yes... on these GM trucks no. Mine revs up and rips the tires off with the brakes on.... 2015 8 speed 6.2 extended cab.

What year we talking here? '14 will let you destroy the rear if you so choose (TC/ST off of course). '15 I don't know.

Just take your truck to dealer and tell them you have a problem because it won't melt the tires... It's all good, I'm sure they will fix it. :lurk:
